I'm a curl aficionado that lives for curls!

And why not? Curls are fun and gorgeous!

Having natural curly hair gives me a great advantage on curly hair knowledge. Like many curly-haired people, I was once stuck in the loop of trendy (but wrong for me) haircuts, a cadre of products, and over an hour morning routine which all went to frizzle as soon as I stepped out into the elements.

In 1998, I discovered a handbook that changed my world (or at least my head).

I learned that combing, not enough water, and the wrong products were preventing my curls from, well, curling. So I switched things up a bit, became a hairstylist, and learned all I could about mane-taining curls. Now I rock amazing curls effortlessly every day!

So why can't you just go get a book and have the curls of your dreams? You can. But there's a lot more I learned in the 10 years of rocking curls and becoming a curl specialist. You'd still have to figure out exactly what your unique curls need and find someone to give you a curl-friendly haircut. And that's exactly what I do for people in one visit.
